| The end of 2014 has been very busy and I can't believe it's already 2015. Happy New Year! Today, I wanted to share with you the amazing and beautiful work of Misa Kumabuchi of Mushimegane Books. Located in Nishinomiya, Japan, Misa Kumabuchi started her business in 2010. Ever since, she has been making these beautiful pieces. Inspired by the sounds and rhythms of everyday life, the shapes are soft and light. There isn't much decoration but a wide variety of textures and colours. I particularly love the Fugu Teapot (top left picture) which has a very uncommon shape for a teapot with its round belly and tiny tiny spout. Go check her website for more beautiful ceramics! |
